Jim spoke before the first-ever family office committee of the Chicago Bar Association about the complex ecosystem that is UHNW services for clients.  Facilitated by attorney Nicholas Tyszka, the webinar was a lively interactive discussion on the growing importance of collaboration skills and procedures for attorneys and other professionals.

Jim led two engaging workshops and moderated a panel at the RSM Tony Wood Family Office Institute, sponsored by the Smith Family Business Initiative at Cornell University. Topics focused on Wealth 3.0 perspectives when developing family office skills for executives working with families and other advisors.

Following a successful event in 2022, Jim returned for a second webinar for the Global Association of Independent Advisors (GAIA) on themes of family wealth and future trends in wealth advising globally.

Jim Grubman attended the 2025 Purposeful Planning Institute gathering in Colorado, his 15th consecutive Rendezvous since its inception in 2011. He joined a main stage panel of senior PPI Fellows, discussing topics around care of self, work, and community.

Jim presented a well-attended webinar for the Family Business Network chapters covering North and South America on topics related to the economic immigrants-and-natives cultural model of wealth, led by the FBN Miami chapter. The webinar also touched on significant cross-cultural elements in global families across generations.

Jim attended the FFI Annual Conference in Boston, MA, USA, with special interest in the tracks discussing family wealth across cultures, led by long-time colleague and collaborator Dennis Jaffe.

The renowned UHNW Institute Symposium returned for another day and a half of trainings, rollout of new frameworks and tools, and intensive learning and networking for the family office practitioner industry. Jim Grubman returned to the RSM Family Office Advanced Leadership Program for a second year, collaborating with Kristin Keffeler on the fundamentals of understanding family clients, generations of wealth, and how to be an empathic well-rounded family office advisor and executive.
