Jim is Director Emeritus of The UHNW Institute (www.uhnwinstitute.org), a nonprofit wealth advisory think tank and learning exchange. The Institute is focused on providing high-quality, objective, unbiased information to ultra-high-net-worth families, family offices, and educational programs in the wealth management industry. During his 6 year tenure helping the Institute start up and mature, he helped spearhead the development of multiple groundbreaking new models, frameworks, and resources:
- The Ten Domains of Family Wealth,™ which describes the full range of needs of an UHNW family.
- The Institute’s online Resource Library for members, a curated compilation of nearly 700 top-quality readings, videos, podcasts, and web resources exclusively about UHNW/family office topics.
- The Wealthesaurus™, the first and only web-based glossary of terms in UHNW wealth advisory services.
- The AIM Framework™, a model that explains the three main phases of wealth advisory work in any domain, providing a way for families to keep track of the advisory projects they are involved with.
Jim continues to do projects within the Institute, helping design and deliver training programs using the Institute’s wide range of content.
